on health
I have a particular interest in the mind’s influence on health. The mind-body link is key to well-being.
We all have the ability to heal our bodies and with a little help from a practitioner we can find homeostasis to live our best lives and be who we are meant to be. Minds, like bodies, need balance and care. The way we think literally changes our health.
We are becoming more aware of the effect mental health and even our personalities have on our physical health and well being. Even our ability to tolerate pain is now widely understood to depend on thought processes and factors other than the nerve signals themselves. It is a vast subject and one which fascinates me.
